About Me

HI I'm Nicky Tamberrino!

Runner, yoga teacher, and self-love advocate. I started running at 29, got hooked on chasing faster times, and over the years, I’ve run 25+ marathons, qualified for Boston, and placed in elite fields. But what I’m most proud of isn’t my PRs—it’s the fact that I found my way back to a healthy relationship with fitness after struggling with the pressure to perform.

That journey led me to create Sanity Loading™, a mind & body fitness brand where I offer yoga classes, creative wellness experiences, and impact speaking to help others move, heal, and grow in ways that actually feel good. I also host the Maybe Running Will Help podcast, where I get real about the highs, lows, and everything in between.

Now, my focus is on building community and creating inclusive spaces—because every body deserves to move. As an RRCA-certified running coach, RYT-200 yoga teacher, and mind-body fitness coach, I help people reach their goals while keeping their sanity intact.

I’ve been lucky to partner with brands like lululemon (proud ambassador!), and my podcast is sponsored by Charm City Run. I’ve worked with companies that believe in the power of movement, mindset, and community—because that’s what truly changes lives.

Oh, and a few other things about me… you may see me on TV or around stores! One thing I’ve learned over the years is that anything is possible—even becoming a model and actor as an adult. I’m the spokesperson for Paul Davis Restoration and Home Remodeling, so if you’re ever in the Delmarva area, keep an eye out for me on TV! I’ve also been on the ID Channel, playing lead and supporting roles in various true crime series, and even had a documentary filmed about me .

Beyond fitness, I’m a writer and poet. I authored Found: Poems for Those Who Have Ever Felt Lost, a collection of poetry about self-discovery and healing, available on Amazon. I still write and am working on publishing more of my work. One of the hardest things I’ve done was sharing my poetry at a poetry jam, but I’m all about pushing myself out of my comfort zone—because that’s where the real magic happens.

I live in Baltimore, MD, with my husband and kids, where I teach, coach, and create experiences that bring people together. If you’re looking for a partner who’s been through it, come out stronger, and is all about making movement, mindfulness, and self-expression more accessible and empowering, let’s connect!
